Indoor measurements
Wireless communication of the devices is based on WiFi communication technology. It is possible to use existing corporate networks without need to install additional infrastructure. RS 485 / WiFi-MQTT DataFly device from Papouch is used to connect to the WiFi network. It is possible to connect several sensors of different physical quantities (temperature, pressure, humidity, CO2, etc.) to one DataFly device. The individual sensors are connected to the device by a wire. The device requires an external power supply, which is not a limitation in buildings. The measurement of individual quantities can be performed at short intervals (from 10 s).
Outdoor measurements
– wireless local area network
Wireless communication of the devices is based on LoRa communication technology. LoRa GATEWAY by MULTITECH is used for communication with the possibility of covering the area of km2 units (eg fields, meadows, vineyards, etc.). DatFly IoT Hub – LoRa device from BD SENSORS offers connection of the various sensors to local LoRa network. Individual sensors of physical quantities can be connected directly to the IoT-Hub via connection connector or by cables through a bushing. The IoT Hub supports internal battery power supply. Measurement of individual quantities can be performed in a configurable interval (from 1 minute). The wider the interval the longer the battery operation lasts (up to several years).
Outdoor measurements
– global wireless network
Wireless communication of the devices is based on LoRa communication technology. The LoRa network of the Czech Radiocommunications company covers a large area of the Czech Republic. DataFly IoT Hub-LoRa device from BD SENSORS offers connection of the various sensors to this global LoRa network. Individual sensors of physical quantities can be connected directly to the IoT-Hub via connection connector or by cables through a bushing. The IoT Hub supports internal battery power supply. Measurement of individual quantities can be performed in a configurable interval (from 1 minute) The wider the interval the longer the battery operation lasts (up to several years).
